Nanbin Road runs 13 km along the south bank of the Yangtze. For visitors, the relevant 2-3 km stretch is opposite Hongya Cave/Chaotianmen — Lao Mafu Long district to Dancing Square. This is the GROUND-level alternative to Nanshan: you can walk this for free, and you face Hongya Cave + the downtown skyline + Yangtze Cable Car all at once. The promenade has cafes, hotpot joints, the Dongshuimen Bridge crossover. Best 7:30-9 PM when downtown lights up. Walk it (free) or rent the e-scooter share. Combine with Yangtze Cable Car descent (cable car drops you here from Yuzhong side).
