Datang Everbright City (literally 'Great Tang Sleepless City') is a 2.1 km Tang-themed pedestrian commercial street that opened 2010 south of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The avenue is lined with 60+ bronze sculptures of Tang-era poets, generals, and ordinary citizens; 1500 Tang-costumed street performers do live theater throughout the evening (the 'Tang Sage Strolling' show is the famous one). Free entry, always-open. Shops at the south end + restaurants throughout. Most visitors come 7-11 PM for the full lit-up experience. The standalone Tang Paradise theme park (¥120, full Tang-style garden + nightly water-show) is 5 min walk further south.
