Chunxi Road has been Chengdu's premier shopping street since 1924. Today it's a 4-block pedestrian zone of department stores (Wangfujing, Maoye, Renmin), Korean and Japanese street fashion shops, and the entire footprint of Chengdu IFS + Taikoo Li tucked along its eastern flank. The Chunxi Road - Taikoo Li - IFS triangle is a single walking circuit lasting 4-6 hours if you stop for snacks (Long Chao Shou wonton — the original outlet at the southern end, Lai Tangyuan rice balls). Most luxury sits in IFS; mid-tier and fast fashion line Chunxi; food street is north on Yanshikou. Free, always-open. Pickpockets historically present during peak crowds — keep phones zipped.

Crowded but vibrant. The giant panda on the IFS rooftop is the iconic selfie spot.
